What data we collect

• Data you provide: name, email address and password when registering. Email addresses of recipients you share playlists with.
• Usage data: anonymous listening statistics for shared playlists (play counts, tracks played). IP address and technical access data in server logs.
• Technical cookies: we use an authentication token (JWT) stored in your browser to keep your session active.
• Referral attribution cookie: when you open a shared link, we store the username of the person who shared it (cookie trakkem_ref, kept for 30 days) so they can be credited if you later create an account. This cookie is only set if you accept all cookies, and is never used for profiling.
• Google Analytics: we use Google Analytics to analyze website traffic. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data via cookies. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

How we use your data

Data is used exclusively to provide the service: authentication, playlist management and listening statistics. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except Google Analytics for traffic analysis.

Data retention

Data is retained until account deletion. Server logs are retained for 30 days.

Legal basis

Processing is based on the contract (service provision) for registration data, and on legitimate interest for usage data and logs.

International transfers

Google Analytics may transfer data to the United States. Google adheres to the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Changes

We reserve the right to update this policy. Substantial changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
